Alexandrova has matched her personal best by winning eight consecutive matches. She has performed strongly against top-ranked opponents, winning five out of seven matches against the top-50 in 2024. In the round of 16, she dropped just one service game against Elise Mertens, and in the quarter-final, she did not allow Jessica Pegula a single break in the second and third sets. However, a key statistic to note is that in 8 of her 12 matches in 2025, the total games exceeded 21, indicating tight contests.
Amanda Anisimova
The American has reached a WTA 1000 semi-final for the first time since 2023 and has already won 24 of her 33 hard-court matches this season.
