Both players have participated in six tournaments in 2025, but the American has recorded a positive win-loss balance, securing 11 victories. Her most notable results this season include a quarter-final run at the Australian Open and a WTA-500 title in Mérida, Mexico, just before Indian Wells.
Emma Raducanu
Emma Raducanu, on the other hand, has struggled for consistency. The 22-year-old Brit has managed only three wins across six tournaments this year. Two of those came at the Australian Open, where she defeated world No. 34 Ekaterina Alexandrova (7:6, 7:6) and world No. 37 Amanda Anisimova (6:3, 7:5) before being overwhelmed by second seed Iga Świątek (1:6, 0:6).
