Everton deserve praise as well, even though they sit 15th in the table. They have gone unbeaten in their last four matches. The promising run began with a dominant victory over Wolverhampton (4:0). However, Everton faced a tough challenge with matches against four giants. They managed to avoid the first challenge as the derby was postponed due to weather conditions. The team drew the next three, keeping both Arsenal and Chelsea at bay with goalless draws, and levelling against Manchester City (1:1). Moreover, Jordan Pickford's penalty save against Erling Haaland marked his second successful penalty stop of the season.
