Dallas have managed to halt a run of poor results. In their latest fixture, they comfortably dispatched St. Louis City SC (3:0) on home turf. Petar Musa once again emerged as a key figure, contributing to five goals (4+1) over the last two matches. However, describing the performance as flawless would be an overstatement. Their opponents managed to register 16 shots on goal and were denied only by fortune from making the scoresheet.
New York City
New York have struggled with consistency, alternating between wins and losses. Their main vulnerability lies in defence — they have failed to keep a clean sheet in each of their last five outings. Even CF Montréal, currently bottom of the standings, managed to breach their backline. That said, New York have looked sharp going forward, producing over 1.00 xG in each of their last four matches.
