France have shown plenty of flaws, most notably their lack of offensive output. They have scored just seven goals across six games. Even more alarming is their inability to generate shots on goal — they have only surpassed the 20-shot mark once, recording 23 attempts against Austria.
Slovenia
Slovenia have fared even worse in front of goal, netting just six times in total. Their shot production is similarly poor, averaging only 14.3 shots per game. In their 0:4 defeat to Sweden, they managed just nine shots on target. Their power-play efficiency has also been disappointing. Despite earning at least two power-play chances in every outing, they have converted only twice over the course of the tournament.
