Gary Wilson
Gary Wilson has been more active in the course of the season than his current opponent. The season has been quite productive, including the final of the Tour Championship. Gary lost that game, but played well against Ronnie O’Sullivan (7:10). Winning the Scottish and Welsh Open makes Wilson an inconvenient opponent for any professional from the top 16.
Stuart Bingham
Stuart Bingham has reached the main draw via the qualifying tournament. Both rounds were quite tough for him. Bingham won 10:9 and 10:8, although his opponents weren’t that strong. Well, this is what we have. His participation in the main draw is kind of a success as Bingham hasn’t performed well recently.

As it was mentioned above, Wilson has been more active in the course of the current season, so the higher winning percentage is pretty understandable. Bingham can focus on important games. The last 5 opening World Championship games prove it. Stuart won all of them.
