Granada haven't managed to defeat Girona in the last two years. Their most recent meeting was on 28 January this year, with the hosts comfortably winning (80:61).
Girona
The club has had a lacklustre start to the season. After losing in the opening round to Unicaja Baloncesto, they bounced back with a win over Manresa (84:80). It's worth noting that the team faces significant offensive challenges, averaging 78.5 points per game. Their top scorer is Ike Iroegbu, with 17 points. Additionally, their three-point shooting percentage is a dismal 28.6.
Granada
The visitors are having even greater struggles offensively, ranking third from last in average points scored, with 66.5. Unlike the hosts, their main issue lies with shots from close range, converting just 40% of them. Considering Girona players recorded six blocks in their previous game, we think Granada will face substantial difficulties in scoring.
Girona vs Granada Prediction
The teams met twice in last season's ACB, with Girona winning both encounters by margins of 19 and 11 points. Even considering Girona's poor offence, their defence, bolstered by home support, should limit Granada's scoring options, and we don't anticipate serious competition in this match.
