Simon Dalton presents his prediction for the Olympic Games match.
Hady Habib
Hady Habib from Lebanon will play only his eighth clay court match in a main draw. He played his other seven matches for his country in the Davis Cup, losing five of them. The highest-ranked player he ever faced in singles was Federico Coria from Argentina. When the Genoa Challenger started, Coria was ranked 91st.
Carlos Alcaraz
Alcaraz seems to have an easy path ahead. The only player who won a Grand Slam this year besides him, Jannik Sinner, has withdrawn. Other medal contenders (Djokovic, Nadal, and Zverev) are on the other side of the draw. Alcaraz likely won't face any equally strong opponents until the semifinals.
Prediction
Carlos lost only one match during the clay season. In major tournaments, he sometimes played slowly in early rounds, but in the Olympics, with best-of-three sets, he probably won't give his opponent a chance.
