As Hammarby finished second last season, the squad will take part in the UEFA Europa Conference League qualifiers. To ease their congested summer fixture list, a second-round league match has been brought forward to the spring international break.

However, key wins on the road against Djurgårdens IF (3:1) and at home to Brommapojkarna (1:0), alongside dropped points from their rivals, have returned them to the summit.

In the last three meetings between these clubs, the winning team has netted three goals on each occasion, with the home side emerging victorious every time. This trend suggests Hammarby could hold the advantage. That outcome seems plausible, especially given the squad’s defensive strength. Across five home matches, Hammarby have dropped just two points and allowed only three goals. All indicators point towards the hosts having the upper hand.
