The Scottish Premiership doesn’t kick off until early August, meaning match sharpness is still an issue. A lack of a reliable holding midfielder and an unsettled back line are clear weaknesses. Playing at home gives Hibernian some edge, but inconsistency continues to be a problem.
Midtjylland
Midtjylland, on the other hand, are already up and running in the Danish league. Their attack is in excellent form, with 15 goals scored across their last six matches. They move fluidly between the lines, apply pressure down the flanks, and favour a direct vertical style. In the first leg, they dominated the expected goals count (1.66 vs 0.48), highlighting their superiority. Midtjylland are tactically disciplined, stable, and well-equipped to manage the game.
