Simon Dalton presents his prediction for the ATP Madrid match.
Tommy Paul beat Jannik Sinner once. It was a long time ago and doesn’t seem real today. Betting sites and fans will be shocked if this happens again.
Jannik Sinner
It was in 2022 on a grass court. Sinner wasn’t in the top 10. That season Sinner won 47 games and lost 16. In the current season, Jannik Sinner has won all 11 games. He was suspended for three months but he came back like he had no pause. In the quarter-finals of the current tournament Sinner faced Casper Ruud. It was the most impressive game of the season for the Italian player, Casper Ruud had little chance to win.
Tommy Paul
It’s hard to tell what Sinner is going to do with Tommy Paul in the semi-final. The American player committed too many mistakes in his game versus Hurcacz. Paul won only because his opponent made even more mistakes, 48 versus 25. While Sinner had only 10 mistakes in his previous game. Paul served pretty poorly and his performance left much to be desired.
Jannik Sinner vs Tommy Paul Prediction
There’s no chance for Tommy Paul to advance to the final. Jannik Sinner is very impressive now and he will easily beat his opponent.
