AS Monaco currently sit third in Ligue 1, holding a narrow three-point cushion over fifth-placed OGC Nice. While their direct competitors face Paris Saint-Germain, the squad travel to face bottom-half side Le Havre — a prime opportunity to extend their advantage to six points.

Le Havre have picked up two wins in their last five outings, though both came against fellow strugglers Montpellier and FC Nantes. Against stronger opposition like Olympique Lyonnais and Stade Rennais, they were convincingly beaten — 2:4 and 1:5 respectively. In the previous round, they narrowly lost to Paris Saint-Germain (1:2), but the league leaders created 3.03 xG and could easily have added a third or fourth. This comes as no surprise, considering the squad's defence ranks among the three weakest in Ligue 1 in terms of xGA.

AS Monaco, on the other hand, were held to a goalless draw at home by a well-organised RC Strasbourg side in their latest fixture. Despite the result, the hosts produced 12 shots on goal. Before that, the squad cruised past Marseille with a 3:0 win, and overall, they possess one of the top five attacking records in the league — averaging 1.9 goals per game.
Le Havre vs AS Monaco Prediction
In the reverse fixture, AS Monaco had little difficulty overcoming Le Havre, cruising to a comfortable 3:1 win. With three crucial points at stake, the squad are expected to be fully focused. Given their defensive frailties, Le Havre are unlikely to put up much resistance, even on home turf.
