For the 21-year-old American, facing a former world number one is a significant challenge, yet statistics indicate that he can compete against more experienced opponents.

It is worth noting that Daniil has dropped at least one set in five of his last six Grand Slam matches to players ranked outside the top 100. Additionally, in seven of his last eight encounters with Americans, Medvedev has also lost at least one set.
