Adam Williams presents his prediction for the Saudi Arabian Masters snooker match.
Aaron Hill
Aaron Hill is the favourite against Lei Peifan, but both players have equal chances. Both have been on tour for a few years, are about the same age, and play at a similar level. It's surprising that in these four years Hill and Lei have never met each other.
Lei Peifan
Lei Peifan played well at the recent Saudi Arabian Masters, winning four matches: against Bai Yulu 4-2, Jamie Clarke 4-3, Robbie Williams 4-3, and Joe O'Connor 5-3. Lei lost to Ronnie O'Sullivan in the last 16, as expected. Before this tournament, he lost all three matches in qualifying but fought in each game, losing to Thepchaiya Un-Nooh 5-3, Jackson Page 5-3, and Oliver Lines 4-3.
Aaron Hill — Lei Peifan Prediction
Aaron Hill beat Ashley Carty 5-3 and Chris Totten 5-3 in the qualification matches for the tournament in China. He then lost to Mark Selby 5-0 and Allan Taylor 4-2 in Riyadh. As we can see, only in the match with Selby did Hill fail to win a frame. We think that in the match with Lei Peifan, it will go to at least 6 frames and maybe even 7. Both players rarely take frames in one visit, so in each frame, both will have chances.
