Simon Dalton presents his prediction for the Leopardstown Xin Gin Ballyroan Stakes (Group 3) horse racing event.
Among the participants in the Irish Group 3 race over a middle distance, Crystal Black from Gerard Keane's stable stands out. The six-year-old gelding is undefeated in three starts this year, and last time became the winner of the Duke Of Edinburgh Stakes handicap at Royal Ascot. But this is Crystal Black's first start in a group race, before this, all 18 starts were handicaps.
Crypto Force hasn't won in two years and was withdrawn from the International Curragh Cup due to the ground, which, like tomorrow, was going good. Safecracker also hasn’t won for more than a year and was second last time in a handicap over the same distance.
The horse from Aidan O'Brien's stable looks the most promising. Ryan Moore will be the partner of The Euphrates for the first time, and the three-year-old colt will carry the lightest weight of 8st 13lb.
