Long Zehuang
Long Zehuang got into the tour in 2023. Last season, Long only had a few wins, but he did beat Yuan Sijun, Thepchaiya Un-Nooh and Si Jiahui. This season, Long played well in the Championship League, reaching the third stage, and defeated Mark Selby 5:4 in the Wuhan Open qualification.
Lim Kok Leong
Lim Kok Leong got into the tour this season after winning the first stage of Q School Asia & Oceania. In the final, Lim Kok Leong beat Gao Yang 4:3. The Malaysian did not play in the Championship League, but he defeated Anthony Hamilton in the British Open qualifier 4:0. Lim Kok Leong did not show up for two matches at all and lost to Welsh amateur Dylan Emery 5:1 in another game.
Long Zehuang — Lim Kok Leong Prediction
We see Long Zehuang as the favourite for several reasons. He is more experienced, has more tournament practice than his opponent, has played more matches this season and defeated serious opponents. This will be Long's second year on tour, while Lim Kok Leong is still getting used to being a professional. We think Long Zehuang will easily win.
