Simon Dalton presents his prediction for the NHL match.
Fortunately for the Los Angeles Kings, they won't be playing with the Golden Knights in Nevada, where the Knights are unbeatable. At the Crypto.com Arena, the Kings have a much better chance of success.
Los Angeles Kings
The Kings rarely suffer defeats at home. Discounting the preseason and a peculiar playoff series with the Edmonton Oilers, they have won 11 of their last 12 home games, losing only to the Minnesota Wild in April. It's best to avoid Nevada, as the Kings learned after being dismantled in Las Vegas (1:6) on 22 October.
Vegas Golden Knights
The Golden Knights have won all seven of their home games this season without needing overtime. However, they've made just three road trips, conceding four goals in each. Against the Florida Panthers, they managed to take home a consolation point from overtime. When considering only away games, their winless streak in regular seasons has now stretched to six games, with their last victory coming on 30 March against the Minnesota Wild (2:1 OT).
Los Angeles Kings vs Vegas Golden Knights Prediction
Despite the formidable presence the Golden Knights maintain at home, in Los Angeles, they are unlikely to experience the joy of victory. At best, the Knights might secure a consolation point.
