Bronny James' incident is at the centre of public attention, but his performance doesn't match the hype. In their previous game against Miami (76-80) James played almost 29 minutes and scored 3 points with 3 turnovers and 1 made shot. He did put up some defensive stats, but it wasn't enough to help his team win.
Houston Rockets
Rockets are ranked 5th in the list of top teams to win the Summer League. It’s clear that they’ve gained picks over several years on active tanking, so there are many talented players in the team. Just look at Cam Whitmore, who became the MVP of last year's Summer League. The forward substituted in last season and scored 12.3 points on 45.4% shooting. Besides him, AJ Griffin is another great player, he was traded to the Rockets in June.
