Simon Dalton presents his prediction for the English Premier League match.
Man City vs Tottenham preview
Manchester City haven’t lost a game since the beginning of October when they were defeated by Arsenal (0:1). After that, they have won 6 out of their last 8 games, except for matches against Chelsea (4:4) and Liverpool (1:1). The Citizens have 15 points in the Champions League and they beat RB Leipzig this week. Even though the German side had a two goal lead by the end of the first half. The strength of Man City is obvious, yet they’re one point behind Arsenal so far.
Tottenham have lost three consecutive games. The Spurs don’t play European games but it doesn’t help them at all. Chelsea, Wolverhampton and Aston Villa. These are the opponents the Spurs have recently suffered defeat from. The beginning of the season was almost perfect for Tottenham but now this side doesn’t seem to be competitive in the game versus the Citizens.
Man City — Tottenham head-to-head
Tottenham seem to be a problem for the Citizens in their head-to-head games. The sides won their home games last season. Tottenham beat Man City 1:0 in London, while the Citizens defeated their opponent 4:2 in Manchester. The Spurs won both Premier League games in the season 2021-22.

Man City vs Tottenham prediction
This could be an interesting game. But to be honest I doubt that Tottenham will be able to compete on an equal level. Manchester City is on fire. I don’t think that games versus Chelsea and Liverpool should be taken into consideration in this case. Tottenham has been in crisis in recent weeks. I highly doubt that the match versus the Citizens is a good moment to end this bad series. I think the home side will win and we will see quite many goals.
