Mark Allen
Mark Allem is definitely the favourite. He’s much stronger than his opponent, even though Allen lost (0:4) a head-to-head game once. Allen is the 3rd in the world ranking, right behind Trump and O’Sullivan. Mark Allen had many personal and sporting problems several years ago. But now everything’s OK and he’s focused on snooker. Allen has been winning opening games in the last 3 consecutive years.
Robbie Williams
Williams easily beat Anthony Hamilton in the first qualifying game (10:5), but faced problems in the second one, playing against Chris Wakelin (10:9). Robbie Williams hasn’t reached anything special this season, the World Championship is probably the brightest event for him. I don’t think that Williams is capable of eliminating his opponent in the main draw, though.
