Simon Dalton presents his prediction for the British Open Qualification snooker match.
Michael Holt
Michael Holt returned to the tour after a good performance at the QTour. Holt won three events and secured an early ticket to the main tour. In the Championship League matches, Holt beat Huang Jiahao 3-1, drew with Joe Perry 2-2 and lost to Gary Wilson 1-3. These matches should have helped Michael to find his game, but then he lost to Shaun Murphy 1-5 and Pang Junxu 2-5. Holt still has to find the game he needs and improve his break building skill.
Reanne Evans
Reanne Evans last won about a year ago, beating Jimmy White in the Championship League. It's a rare thing that Evans loses without a chance. Reanne does not have such a good break building as other players, but due to experience Evans takes her chances. Sometimes matches that Reanne plays reach the deciding frame.
Michael Holt - Reanne Evans Prediction
I think there will be several mistakes in the match between Michael Holt and Reanne Evans in every frame, which will lead to long frames and ending on the colored balls. In my opinion, Evans will have a couple of chances in each frame, and Michael Holt has not yet reached the level of form to win frames easily on a regular basis.
