Simon Dalton presents his prediction for the friendly match.
Milan
On the weekend, Milan beat Manchester City (3:2). Lorenzo Colombo, a substitute forward, scored twice, and Marco Nastic scored the winning goal late in the game. In 90 minutes, Milan had 5 shots on target and controlled the game more than Man City (56-44). For the game against Real Madrid, Milan will likely start with the American duo Yunus Musah and Christian Pulisic, and Luka Jovic will lead the attack.
Real Madrid
Last week, Real Madrid started their season with a win against Albacete (3-0), playing behind closed doors. Brahim Diaz scored a goal, and Nico Paz had two assists. Carlo Ancelotti will give Paz, who studied in Real Madrid Academy, more playing time. For their first game in the USA, Real Madrid probably won’t start their top players, as they will join the team later in the tour.
Milan - Real Madrid Prediction
In the first US tour game, Milan showed they can take advantage when top teams don't use their best players. Real Madrid doesn't have all their players back from national team duty yet, so the Spanish side will mostly use substitutes.
Last year, Milan and Real Madrid had an exciting 4-3 game. Now, young players want to show their skills in a big match. We expect lots of goals from these top teams. They should entertain the American fans.
