Simon Dalton presents his prediction for the Championship match.
Leeds United secured a resounding victory against Plymouth Argyle in the previous round, but Millwall appear just as formidable as the contenders for Premier League promotion.
Millwall
Indeed, Millwall's recent form is on par with Leeds United's: three wins and two draws in their last five matches. These victories were clinched consecutively, winning 1:0 against first Plymouth Argyle, then Swansea City, and finally, Championship favourites Burnley. The last time Millwall conceded and dropped points was against Derby County (1:1).
Leeds United
Leeds United, aside from their win over Plymouth Argyle, also have a goalless draw with Bristol City in their recent record. All three of their wins in the last five rounds were achieved at home: against Sheffield United (2:0), Watford (2:1), and Plymouth Argyle (3:0). Only twice have they conceded more than two goals in the league: in the first round against Portsmouth (3:3) due to a surprise element, and in the ninth round against Sunderland (2:2) due to an inexplicable goalkeeper error.
Millwall vs Leeds United Prediction
Scoring against Leeds United will be extremely challenging even with the match taking place in London. These successes should be complemented by their head-to-head record, which strongly favours the Yorkshire side. Leeds United have won the last three fixtures, scoring at least two goals in each. While it's not certain that they will score twice, they are not expected to lose.
