Simon Dalton presents his prediction for the Championship match.
Both Millwall and Swansea City still have an outside shot at making the play-off zone, although for the Welsh side, that prospect remains more theoretical than realistic. For the hosts, the opportunity is slightly more attainable.
Millwall
In truth, though, the outlook is far from promising. Millwall must battle with Middlesbrough, who are level on points, and also contend with Coventry City and Bristol City, who currently occupy the play-off positions. In the final round, the team will have to travel to face Burnley, and it's difficult to imagine a side heading back to the Premier League dropping points there. However, at The Den, Millwall have been impressive, winning each of their last four home fixtures.
Swansea City
While their prospects remain largely hypothetical, Swansea City have hit a rich vein of form. It began in Round 39 on 29 March, when they netted a dramatic 96th-minute equaliser away to Leeds United. Since then, the players have seemingly regained their confidence, going on to register five straight wins with a score of 7:1. As they did early in the season, Swansea City have become far more organised at the back.
Millwall vs Swansea City Prediction
Throughout much of the campaign, Millwall have been regarded as a difficult side to break down but lacking in cutting edge themselves. With so much on the line for both teams, a low-scoring encounter seems the most likely outcome.
