Adam Williams presents his prediction for the NHL match.
The Seattle Kraken begin their road trip with a tough challenge in Tennessee, facing the Nashville Predators. The Predators have improved their performances, while the Kraken continue to struggle defensively and have failed to find consistency.
Nashville Predators
The Predators ended a poor run with a dominant 6:3 victory over the Boston Bruins, showcasing a strong attacking display with 30 shots on target. Steven Stamkos finally ended his 13-game goal drought, registering 1+2 in that match, while Jonathan Marchessault found the net for the first time in five games. The Predators perform well at home, winning three of their last five games at Bridgestone Arena. They have averaged 2.97 goals per game on home ice this season.
Seattle Kraken
The Kraken followed up a 6:3 win over the Vancouver Canucks with a poor defensive showing in a 3:4 loss to the Minnesota Wild. Their defence has been a major issue, conceding 18 goals in their last four games. Goaltender Joey Daccord has struggled, stopping just 85.7% of shots over this period. The Kraken’s away record is poor, having been heavily beaten by the St Louis Blues (2:7) and the Tampa Bay Lightning (1:4), conceding an average of 3.59 goals per game on the road.
Nashville Predators vs Seattle Kraken Prediction
The Nashville Predators have been solid at home and efficient in attack, while the Seattle Kraken’s defensive struggles continue on the road. Given the Kraken’s weak defence, the Predators should have no trouble scoring at least three goals in this matchup.
