Newcastle United lost to Chelsea (1:2) primarily due to their own sluggishness, compounded by their opponent's speed and agility. Both goals were conceded because of this, and they could have let in a third when Pedro Neto hit the woodwork. Newcastle United's defence is actually solid; Chelsea are one of the few clubs to have scored more than one goal against them, the other being Fulham. Notably, both matches were played in London.
Chelsea
Chelsea will be playing away with a different lineup, naturally. They have a depth of young talent to draw upon. The main task for the home side will be to contain Chelsea's pace. This season, they have performed well on the road, except when facing Liverpool at Anfield (1:2).

When visiting the North East of England, they have avoided defeat in half of the last four matches. Given the current state of play, Chelsea have a better chance of success, but they won't score many against the hosts.
