Newcastle have to take three points in this game to qualify for the play-offs. However, even if they succeed they will still depend on the result of another game in this group. In case PSG beat Borussia Dortmund nothing will save Newcastle from relegation from the Champions League. The Magpies missed a goal in the 98th minute of their match versus PSG, which causes them a lot of trouble now. After that game, Newcastle managed to beat Manchester United in the Premier League (2:0), but failed two subsequent meetings. They were beaten by Everton (0:3) and Tottenham (1:4).
The situation is pretty much the same for Milan in this group. Besides, it’s even more complicated. If PSG and Borussia are tied, it will be OK for Newcastle (if the Magpies win), but it’s not OK for the Italian side. The only thing they need is to win this match and rely on Borussia Dortmund to beat PSG. In Italy, Milan are troubled. Their chances to fight for the title are fading away, they’re currently already 9 points behind Inter. In the previous round of the Italian Serie A Milan were beaten by Atalanta (2:3).

I believe they will be careful at the beginning. Newcastle still have problems with their squad as many players remain injured. Milan aren’t stable basically. I’m not ready to say who will win this game. But I believe that, regardless of being careful, both teams will make mistakes playing in defence.
