Simon Dalton presents his prediction for the Olympic Games match.
Novak Djokovic
Novak will be super motivated to play his best at the Olympics. Djokovic comes to Paris as the all-time record holder of Grand Slam titles (24), but he still doesn't have an Olympic gold medal. The legendary Serb will play in the Olympics for the fifth time in his career - and probably the last.
Matthew Ebden
Matthew Ebden hasn't played singles for a long time. His appearance in the Olympic tournament was a surprise even to him. The Australian plays well in doubles with Rohan Bopanna, but he hasn't played singles for two years. He doesn't even have an ATP ranking now.
Prediction
Ebden's last singles win on clay was way back in 2017. For Novak, this will be like a warm-up match. We don't see any reason to think the underdog has a chance.
