Simon Dalton presents his prediction for the Olympic Games match.
Novak Djokovic
Novak Djokovic usually starts slow in big tournaments. He wins by small scores in early rounds, no matter who he plays with. However, his match with Matthew Ebden (6:0, 6:1) shows he's extra focused in Paris. He hasn’t won an Olympic gold medal yet, so the Serbian is only playing singles. He's not in mixed doubles or doubles.
Rafael Nadal
Rafael Nadal will play for the third day in a row. He had a tough match with Marton Fucsovics (6:1, 4:6, 6:4) and also played doubles. Nadal complained about the schedule and wasn't sure if he could play. He didn't get an extra day off. Nadal is still dealing with an injury, so he probably won't play his best tennis against Djokovic.
Prediction
Nadal isn't showing the level that made him best on the clay court for years. There's a big chance he might not even finish this match. Our odds on Djokovic to win easily.
