Etcheverry participates in the Australian Open for the third time. He keeps gradually on this way. He was eliminated in the first round two years ago and in the second round a year ago. The third round seems to be the limit for Etcheverry for now. He’s lost all his 4 games against the opponents from the top 10.

The success of the Argentinian player shouldn’t be overestimated. He’s beaten two experienced players beyond the top 40 of the age of 73 in total for both, namely Andy Murray and Gaël Monfils. Djokovic has been improving. Besides, the last season saw Djokovic beating Etcheverry twice.
