Simon Dalton presents his prediction for the EuroLeague basketball match.
Panathinaikos
We can only wonder whether the attacking line of Panathinaikos endure such a rhythm or not. The Greek side expects a lot from Kostas Sloukas, who managed to score 6 and 9 points in two previous games respectively. The team lacks successful 3-point shots too. On average, the score 8,8 three-point shots, being fifth-to-last.
Real Madrid
Real keep on their Greek journey. They beat Olympiacos in the previous round (77:71). The Greek side had only 35.4% successful attempts. Carlos Alocén, who missed 22 months due to heavy injury, has joined the roster of the Spanish side.
Panathinaikos – Real Madrid prediction
Panathinaikos haven’t lost a home game in over a month. In the previous four games, the Greek side was an obvious favourite. This is going to be the first time they face a serious opponent. Real Madrid have started the season perfectly well, they’re current leaders. They’re also the best in offensive efficiency, with 89,1 points per game on average.
Real Madrid have many tools to neutralise strong offensive line of Panathinaikos. I guess the favourites will win.
