Simon Dalton presents his prediction for the UEFA Champions League match.
PAOK
In Malmö, PAOK managed to equal the score twice in different ways. The Greeks caught the Swedes making mistakes twice. Experienced players Taison Freda and Abdul Baba scored from the left side. Even without Chalov coming off the bench, Razvan Lucescu made smart substitutions: Tarik Tissoudali, Kiril Despodov, and Mady Camara came on and quickly scored a goal. At home, PAOK will surely take more shots (8) than in the first game.
Malmö
The home draw might upset Malmo, who didn’t use their chance well. The Scandinavian dominated the game and could win, but made defencive mistakes. The coaching staff will likely use the same starting lineup as in the first game, although Erick Botheim, who performed poorly, might be replaced.
PAOK - Malmö Prediction
In Thessaloniki, we probably won’t see a high-scoring game. PAOK has better players and more experience than Malmo, which should give the Greeks a better chance to advance. We’re picking the safest odds for this match.
