Simon Dalton presents his prediction for the Serie A match.
Juventus' direct rivals in the battle for a top-four finish have already played and dropped points. Now they must respond — a win over Parma would lift the team into the Champions League spots.
Parma
Parma have drawn each of their last five fixtures, facing both league leaders Inter Milan (2:2) and bottom-placed AC Monza (1:1) during this run. Their backline continues to show signs of vulnerability. Even though two of those games ended goalless, their opponents still managed to rack up a total of 15 shots on target and 1.32 xG. Questions also remain over the consistency of goalkeeper Zion Suzuki — Torino needed just two shots on target to score twice.
Juventus
The rescheduling of this fixture from Monday to Wednesday has clearly worked in Juventus' favour. It gave forward Kenan Yıldız enough time to recover — he currently serves as the team’s primary creative force in attack. Under Igor Tudor, Kenan Yıldız has scored twice in three appearances. The Croatian manager has also found an effective role for Dušan Vlahović, who has notched three assists over the same period.
Parma vs Juventus Prediction
Since Igor Tudor's arrival, the squad has shown a knack for grinding out results against teams from the lower half of the standings. They broke down Genoa's defensive shape (1:0), then edged out Lecce (2:1). A win is crucial this time around, and the players are fully aware of it. In this context, Parma are unlikely to withstand the pressure.
