Simon Dalton presents his prediction for the EuroLeague match.
In the previous EuroLeague round, Partizan suffered a surprising defeat to Virtus Bologna (69:70). Now they face a much tougher opponent in AS Monaco. Can they redeem themselves in front of their home fans?
Partizan
Despite the setback in the last round, Partizan are currently in fine form. The team have claimed victory in five of their last six matches, two of which were in the EuroLeague. They are showing strong offensive capabilities, averaging 82.8 points per game, but they sometimes encounter difficulties in defence. In one game, they managed to hold Bayern Munich to just 78 points, yet conceded 93 to Real Madrid, who themselves are not at their best form.
AS Monaco
AS Monaco have also found their stride. In their last outing, they narrowly lost at home to Paris (80:87), surrendering the game in the fourth quarter, but prior to that, they comfortably thrashed Virtus Bologna (101:85). AS Monaco currently sit fourth in the league rankings for offensive output, scoring an average of 86 points per game while conceding 83.4 on average.
Partizan vs AS Monaco Prediction
This matchup features two evenly matched teams, each eager to bounce back from previous missed victories. We expect a real shootout this time around, and given both clubs' strong offensive play, we suggest betting on the total points scored.
