Adam Williams presents his prediction for the EuroLeague match.
In the previous round, Partizan triumphed over Crvena Zvezda in the Serbian derby (89:77). Can the Belgrade side maintain their winning momentum and surprise Olympiacos Piraeus, who are on a seven-game winning streak, on home turf?
Partizan
In their last game, Partizan delivered a spectacular attacking performance. Seven players scored eight points or more, with the offensive leader Carlik Jones racking up 21 points and 4 assists. However, the Serbs' main issue remains their defence. Attacking teams such as Olimpia Milano, Barcelona, and Fenerbahçe have easily managed to score around 90 points against Partizan.
Olympiacos Piraeus
Currently, Olympiacos boast the second-highest scoring offence in the EuroLeague, averaging 86.5 points per game. The leader of the Greek club, Sasha Vezenkov, is one of the top scorers in the entire tournament, averaging 18.5 points per game. Given Olympiacos's high-energy style of play, we believe the international break and lack of league fixtures have clearly benefited them.
Partizan vs Olympiacos Piraeus Prediction
It is highly unlikely that Partizan will be able to contain the visitors' elite offence. We expect the match to be high-scoring.
