Denmark have at least been more competitive against the group’s top sides. They suffered narrow defeats to Sweden (0:1) and Germany (1:2). The squad secured direct qualification for the UEFA Women's Euro finals by finishing second in their group. In the 2025 UEFA Nations League A campaign, they remained in the hunt for a spot in the final four until the closing stages.
