Portugal
Portugal were amazing in the qualifying tournament with 10 wins in 10 games, 36 goals scored and only 2 conceded. The friendlies Portugal have recently played haven’t been that successful but mostly because of key players missing them. In the game versus Ireland (3:0) they were on the pitch. Ronaldo scored twice, Fernandes made an assist. These players will be leaders in this tournament.
Czech Republic
Despite qualifying for Euro 2024 after finishing 2nd behind Albania, a new coach was appointed in January. Hašek has joined the team for the second time in his career. The side has won 4 consecutive friendly games, without playing against a top opponent. However, their opponents have scored in each of the games, even Malta (7:1) and North Macedonia (2:1).
Portugal – Czech Republic prediction
The stars Portugal have in their squad are the key advantage of the side. The Czech Republic will hardly be able to do anything against their opponent. Portugal beat the Czech Republic twice in the UEFA Nations League (2:0 and 4:0). I believe this is how this game is going to end, too.
