Simon Dalton presents his prediction for the Champions League match.
Juventus extended their winning streak with a victory over Inter Milan (1:0) in the Derby d'Italia. Now, away at PSV Eindhoven, the Turin side will not let their place in the UCL last 16 slip. The Dutch side appear to be struggling, and Juventus have the experience and form to capitalise on their opponent’s dip.
PSV Eindhoven
Since the start of February, PSV Eindhoven have won just once in their last five matches – a victory over Feyenoord Rotterdam (2:0) in the Dutch Cup. However, they have looked vulnerable at the back, conceding four goals in their last two matches against Juventus (1:2) and Utrecht (2:2). In their last Eredivisie outing, they allowed 1.47 xGA and 10 shots, and their gap at the top of the table over Ajax has shrunk to five points dropped.
Juventus
February has been a turning point for Juventus. They have scored nine goals in four matches, winning all of them. In the first leg against PSV Eindhoven, Thiago Motta's substitutions made the difference, with Samuel Mbangula netting the winner off the bench. The Turin club have only suffered one away defeat all season – a narrow loss to Napoli (1:2), who are chasing the Scudetto.
PSV Eindhoven vs Juventus Prediction
PSV Eindhoven will be without Ismael Saibari, limiting their attacking creativity to Johan Bakayoko's wing play. Juventus are in top form and should avoid defeat in Eindhoven.
