Simon Dalton presents his prediction for the UEFA Conference League match.
Pyunik hardly beat Ordabasy in an away game (1:0). The Kazakh players once again had struggled to score, and there will be even fewer chances in Yerevan.
Pyunik
Pyunik’s goalkeeper Henri Avagyan was the star of the first match against Ordabasy. He made four saves and finished with the highest rating among all players. The team is still relying on defensive style, an unexpected goal by Yusuf Otubanjo was the of only two shots on target in 90 minutes. A possible problem for the Armenian club could be their injured centre-forward Lucas Villela, who was substituted in the first half in Kazakhstan.
Ordabasy
In all three European qualifying rounds, Ordabasy has lost 1-0, showing their weak attack each time. This could have been different for the team if the VAR hadn’t disallowed Vsevolod Sadovsky’s goal. Also, only four out of 16 shots Ordabasy made were on target.
Pyunik - Ordabasy Prediction
In Yerevan, Pyunik and Ordabasy won't score many goals again. The host will try to protect their lead from the start, while the visitors will struggle to score. One or two accurate shots will decide the second leg.
