QPR
Last season, QPR got only 27 points in the 23 home games in the Championship; only three teams did worse. In the last three pre-season matches, the London club didn’t score any goals against Tottenham (0-2), Reading, and Brighton (both 0-1), which shows they’re weak in attack. In offence, the coaching staff can hope for the talents of Lyndon Dykes, Zan Celar and Michael Frey, all forwards play similar styles (expect crosses and counter-attacks).
West Bromwich
Before the new campaign, West Brom lost one of their key midfielders Okay Yokuslu, but took Lewis Dobbin on loan from Aston Villa. Carlos Corberan kept most of the team together, which can fight for a top-5 spot again. However, West Brom only scored twice in the last four friendlies and lost all of them.
QPR - West Bromwich Prediction
Since January 2022, odds under 2,5 has won in three out of five head-to-head games between QPR and West Brom. Both teams will likely have a mixed start of the season, they’re struggling to get in shape, so we expect no more than two goals.
