After four draws in their last five Bundesliga fixtures, they now risk falling out of the top three—a challenge shared by their main rivals, Stuttgart and Borussia Dortmund. In their recent match against Heidenheim (2:2), RB Leipzig had to come from behind after conceding two early goals, eventually registering an impressive 2.06 xG from eight shots on target.
VfL Wolfsburg
Since the start of 2025, Wolfsburg have accumulated 13 points from eight Bundesliga matches—only five teams have achieved more. However, in the absence of their first-choice goalkeeper Kamil Grabara, they have conceded more chances at the back, with an average of 7.33 xGA in four away fixtures. Over the weekend, they also struggled against a relegation-threatened opponent, as Mattias Svanberg rescued a 1:1 draw against Bochum in the dying minutes.
RB Leipzig vs VfL Wolfsburg Prediction
Previously, in the 12th Bundesliga round, Wolfsburg tore apart RB Leipzig’s defence, scoring three goals by the 16th minute in a 5:1 victory. RB Leipzig will be eager to exact revenge, but we see value in the bet on Both Teams to Score.
