Real has had similar problems with their squad playing two games. They were very successful for the Spanish side. They beat Valencia (5:1) and Cádiz (3:0). However, the supremacy of Real Madrid wasn’t that big in xG. They had similar statistics with Valencia, overtaking Cádiz only in 0,4 xG.
Napoli
Napoli has successfully changed their manager prior to this game. Now it’s Walter Mazzarri, who were among the top 4 managers of the side in the number of games won (73). In his second term in the team he started with a win over strong Atalanta (2:1). Osimhen (6+1) is finally back in the squad, and he made an assist right away after 26 minutes on the pitch.
Real Madrid - Napoli prediction
Real Madrid haven’t lost a home game since the beginning of April, winning 8 out of their last 9 Champions League games on their pitch. However, it’s unlikely that Real will win this game easily as they have many injured players. Tchouaméni, Camavinga, Vinícius, Militão and Courtois will miss this game, with participation of Kepa Arrizabalaga being under question. This is why Napoli don’t deserve to be an outsider in this game.
Even a draw will be the perfect result for Real Madrid in their current situation.
