Adam Williams presents his prediction for the EuroLeague match.
The race for EuroLeague play-in spots is reaching its climax, with five teams currently tied at 18-14, each pushing hard to break into the top six. Among them are Real Madrid and Paris Basketball, making this head-to-head clash pivotal for both teams’ postseason prospects.
Real Madrid
Real Madrid come into this game riding a strong eight-game winning streak. While the early stages of that run featured some uneven play, the team has since found its stride, averaging 92.3 points over their last four outings. Key contributors are stepping up at just the right time. Walter Tavares is averaging 14.5 points and pulling down 8.8 rebounds per game. Dzanan Musa has also hit form, putting up 24 points against Unicaja Málaga and following it with 21 points in a win over Olimpia Milano last week. At this critical point in the season, Real Madrid look to be clicking offensively.
Paris Basketball
Paris Basketball put together two notable performances last week. They fell just short against Fenerbahçe Beko, losing by a single point (100:101), before bouncing back with a narrow 101:98 win over Panathinaikos BC. T.J. Shorts was outstanding in Greece, posting 29 points, 14 assists, and 9 rebounds — a performance that earned him another MVP of the round award. Nadir Hifi also had a strong week, contributing a total of 30 points across the two fixtures.
Real Madrid vs Paris Basketball Prediction
In the previous meeting between these sides, they combined for 181 points. Despite that, the current projected total is set surprisingly low. Given both teams’ recent offensive output and scoring trends, this looks like an opportunity worth taking — we’re backing the Total Over option.
