Romania
Romania have failed to win a friendly game they’ve played in 2024 on 4 occasions. The sides haven’t been able to score over 2 goals in 3 of those games. Romania had 35 shots and 62% ball possession in the game versus Liechtenstein. It obviously means that Romania have some problems with scoring a goal. However, the side didn’t lose a game in the Euro 2024 qualifying campaign, only conceding 5 goals in their 10 games.
Ukraine
Ukraine have qualified for the European Champion via play-offs, beating Bosnia and Herzegovina and Iceland (2:1 in both cases). Ukraine have been brilliant only in one of the friendlies they’ve played in June, against Moldova (4:0). They’ve scored only one goal in the remaining games. Against Germany (0:0) and Poland (1:3).
Romania – Ukraine prediction
The way Romania played in the goalless friendlies played in June against Bulgaria and Liechtenstein can affect the players. On the other hand, Romania easily qualified for Euro 2024, unlike Ukraine. The Romanian side can achieve something good. Romania will play defensively, which will be a problem for Ukraine.
