Adam Williams presents his prediction for the Xi'an Grand Prix snooker match.
Ronnie O'Sullivan
Ronnie O Sullivan takes tournaments in China seriously. He reached the semi-finals of the Shanghai Masters, where he had won three times before. In Xi'an, Ronnie beat Wang Yuchen 5:0 in the first round, but the last three frames were tense, and Wang could have won one of those frames. Ronnie's next match is with the World and European Junior Champion Bulcsú Révész. Ronnie needs to get in shape before the upcoming tournament in Saudi Arabia, so I assume Ronnie is very serious.
Bulcsú Révész
Bulcsú lost to Jordan Brown 1:3 and Jak Jones in his first matches as a professional, but then beat David Grace 5:0. However, he failed to qualify for the tournament in Wuhan, Révész lost to Pan Junxu 5-2. Bulcsú looks good at 17 years old, it will be very interesting to see his progress this season.
Ronnie O'Sullivan - Bulcsú Révész Prediction
Quite often when Ronnie plays against talented young players, and Révész certainly one of them, he gives them a chance to play their game and see if they are ready for matches like this, how comfortable they are in atmosphere of big tournaments. I doubt Ronnie will win 5:0 with five hundred breaks, Ronnie is not that strong at the moment. But there is no doubt that he will win, however, I will assume that Bulcsú Révész will get a few chances and try to convert them into winning frames.
