Adam Williams presents his prediction for the Saudi Arabia Masters snooker match.
Ronnie O'Sullivan
Ronnie O'Sullivan beat Lei Peifan 5-1 with a great performance and breaks of 131, 103, 93, 61 and 59. A great start for Ronnie who wants to please the snooker fans in Saudi Arabia. The draw is very good for Ronnie - next up is Pang Junxu or Si Jiahui, so Ronnie is one foot in the semi-final.
Zhang Anda
Zhang Anda had an outstanding match against Ben Woollaston, beating him 5:0. An incredible game with three century breaks of 138 and another 128! Four century breaks and a break of 50, while Woollaston only scored 15 points in the whole match. A fantastic game, but I don't believe that Zhang will play even 50% of what he played yesterday. And it often happens that after a fantastic game, a snooker player fails the next match.
Ronnie O'Sullivan - Zhang Anda Prediction
Ronnie simply will not give Zhang as many chances as Woollaston did. Anda himself understands that it is impossible to play like that. Last season, Zhang won both matches against O'Sullivan - at the English Open 4:2 and in the semi-finals of the International Championship 9:6. If this were a tournament in Europe, Ronnie would have less motivation, but he's arrived to Riyadh and wants to show his best game. I think it will be a confident victory for Ronnie.
