Adam Williams presents his prediction for the Sandown Sky Bet Solario Stakes (Group 3, 7f, 2yo) horse racıng event.
It's a tricky race, but the favourite for us is still Field Of Gold, trained by John & Thady Gosden. The son of Kingman was third in his debut start and then won a Maiden Stakes at Newmarket, beating his rivals by over three lengths. As in his last victorious start, the colt will be partnered by Kieran Shoemark.
Royal Playwright and Matauri Bay from the stables of Andrew Balding and Ralph Beckett, respectively, also deserve attention. Both are by Lope De Vega and have each won a start in Novice Stakes. Royal Playwright appears just slightly more preferable.
An Outlaw's Grace looks like the dark horse in this field. Trained by Richard Hannon, the colt won his debut start and then placed twice in Group 2 races. Last time under Ryan Moore, he finished sixth but looked good in a field of 20 horses. His win might be a long shot, but for an each-way bet, his price of 14/1 on bet365 is very tempting.
