Scotland
Scotland changed their defensive line following the defeat from Germany (1:5). Hanley substituted disqualified Porteous, which was a good option for the Swiss side. Switzerland only had 1.03 xG within 90 minutes (1:1). A severe injury Tierney suffered is a new problem for Scotland. McKenna, who is not that good at attacking actions, is likely to play instead of him.
Hungary
Hungary learnt their lesson of the first round when they were defeated by Switzerland (1:3). However, they lost the second game too. This time they were beaten by Germany (0:2). Hungary had 1.29 xG against 1.65 that Germany had. Hungary even scored a goal prior to the half-time but the goal was disallowed due to offside. Hungary have no disqualified and injured players.
Scotland – Hungary prediction
Even if someone wins, they may be eliminated from the tournament although occupying third position. Betting sites believe that Hungary have better chance to win, even though they have no points so far.
The Scottish attacking line is one of the weakest in the tournament with only 0.86 xG within 180 minutes. Hungary have their last chance to advance to the knockout stage.
