Burnley are two points behind, so they cannot afford to slow down. Bristol City, meanwhile, are in a tight battle for fifth and sixth place. Each team has its own motivation.
Sheffield United
Sheffield United have been in strong form, with four wins in their last five and only Coventry City and Burnley picking up more points in the same period. Their most recent victory over Preston North End (1:0) was a narrow escape, as their opponents struck the post before Tyrese Campbell netted the winner in the 56th minute. This was also the first home match in five where Sheffield United kept a clean sheet.
Bristol City
Bristol City have also been in good shape, earning three wins and two draws in their last five matches. They have scored in each of these games, showing their attacking consistency. While they haven’t faced a league leader since December, their ability to find the net in every match suggests they could cause Sheffield United problems.
