Simon Dalton presents his prediction for the Champions League match.
Slavia Prague
For Slavia Prague, there are still points to be found against the likes of Pafos, but this game is equally vital. Their 2024/25 European run ended in disappointment: just one win from eight Europa League matches and not a single home victory (one draw, three defeats). Still, they managed to score in all four games at Fortuna Arena, even if progress to the knockout rounds proved beyond them.
Bodø/Glimt
Bodø/Glimt advanced last season through sheer home dominance. They crushed Twente 5:2 in Norway before falling 1:2 away, then repeated the formula against Olympiakos (home win, away defeat) and Lazio (home win, away defeat). Against Tottenham, however, the tactic failed: 1:3 in London and 0:2 in Bodø.
Slavia Prague vs Bodø/Glimt Prediction
Given recent form, Slavia Prague are not stronger than Bodø/Glimt. The Norwegians have every chance of taking something here. Even if they do lose, it is unlikely to be by more than a single goal.
